Urban Veda - Radiance Exfoliating Facial Polish :Urban Veda is a natural skincare line that is based around the principles of Ayurveda. It says that this scrub is made to balance and brighten skin which is exactly what my skin needs at the moment. I like that this scrub is gentle and with ingredients like papaya, cedar and orange it's no wonder it smells so good! At £8.99 for 125ml I think this will be a product I buy when the trial runs outs.
Eyeko - Skinny Liquid Eyeliner Black: When it comes to eyeliner I must confess I am a bit of a junkie, I am always in search for the perfect eyeliner. With Alexa Chung advising for the brand I had high hopes and I can safely say I was not disappointed. What I like about this liner is although it says liquid you don't have to wait for it to dry, so no smudging.
Beauty Protector Protect & Oil : This oil smells amazing and makes your hair feel incredibly soft when you apply it to your damp hair before styling. It is exclusive to Birchbox and may seem a bit pricey at £26 for 4oz but a little bit does go a long way.
Gilchrist & Soames -The London Collection Shower Gel : My first thoughts on this shower gel was that it smelled like something you would use at hotel, which made sense when I did a bit of research and discovered that this brand is renowned at hotels and spas around the world. This shower gel has a crisp yet delicate scent to it but what impressed me was the amount of lather you got when using the smallest amount. Although this shower gel is nice I'm not sure it will be replacing my pink pepperpod body wash any time soon.
February Birchbox Review
It needs to be said that getting a Birchbox subscription for Christmas was one of my favourite gifts, mainly because it's a gift that keeps on giving. At the beginning of each month I start to get excited thinking about what lovely goodies I'll get to try out and this month didn't disappoint!
It needs to be noted that this box also came with a Green & Black’s Dark 70% 100g Bar and it was delicious........so delicious that I ate it before I took the pictures. Leighton Denny Nail polish - The colour I received was 'coconutty' which is like a mink colour with a gold shimmer. This is a great everyday colour and the shimmer is just right. The polish applies nicely and lasts but I did need to apply 3 coats to get full cover.
I know subscription boxes are becoming more popular, do you subscribe to any? Which are your favourites?
