The beginning of this month we got a glimpse of spring. The sun came out and we even got a bit of warm weather! Although I'm not sure when the spring weather is going to return, this month's Birchbox is like a little piece of spring in a box.
This month Birchbox collaborated with Lulu Guinness and to celebrate this each box received a stick of rock candy. The information card says that this black and white striped sweet was the inspiration for the Lulu Guinness Spring/Summer Collection which you can have a look at here.
Korres Citrus Body Milk - £9.50 : Korres is a brand which develops products that are environmentally friendly and make a difference to your skin. This body milk is enriched with vitamins to give your skin a boost whilst moisturising. This body milk smells good enough to eat and is really easily absorbed into the skin. I love using this after my shower since the lovely fresh scent makes me excited to start my day.
Dr. Brandt Pores No More Pore Refiner - £39 : The Dr. Brandt line is created by a celebrity dermatologist which is dedicated to creating anti-ageing products by combining science with active botanicals. This primer is absorbed quickly into the skin and does make your pores less visible. When you first apply it, there is a strong tea tree oil scent but once it's applied this quickly disappeared. My only issue with this product is the price, it just seems a lot for something I'm going to generally wear underneath my make-up.
Molton Brown Rhubarb & Rose Replenishing Hand Cream - £10 : Molton Brown is a British company that has been creating luxurious and exotic fragrances since 1973. Rhubarb and Rose is their most recent scent and it must be said I am absolutely in love with it. I wish they made a candle and body wash in this fragrance because I would buy both! This cream is quickly absorbed into your skin leaving your hands moisturised and smelling lovely.
English Laundry No. 7 For Her - £47 : This scent really reminds me of a spring day, like something you would smell when hanging clean laundry, that lovely fresh smell. With notes of pear, vanilla and sandalwood I find this a really easy scent to wear.
Benefit Stay Don't Stray - £20.50 : This is an eye primer that is made to ensure shadows and concealer stay put throughout the day. I received the light/medium shade which works with my skin tone quite nicely. This product does create a good base to apply shadows and concealers to but what I really like about it was that it made my skin tone look more even around my eyes.
